# Connect a Facebook Page

Facebook reviews in SyncMyReviews are the recommendations left on a Page you manage. Connect the Page, then map it to one business.

## Connect

1. Create the business first. See [Create your first business](https://www.syncmyreviews.com/docs/create-your-first-business).
2. Open **Connections**, then **Facebook**.
3. Sign in with Facebook and approve Page access. You sign in on Facebook. SyncMyReviews does not ask for your Facebook login.
4. Choose the Page and map it to the business.
5. Save.

The import brings in the recommendation (recommended or not) and any review text. The first import does not email you once per old review.

## After it is connected

* New recommendations are picked up by a Facebook webhook, and by the regular sync.
* Email alerts for new or edited reviews use the same **Settings → New reviews** toggles as Google. **Primary** is your sign-in email. **Communication** is the account communication email.
* Replies you write on the **Reviews** page are sent back to Facebook.

A Facebook recommendation with no star rating is treated as recommended or not recommended. A low recommendation follows the same low-rating path as a 1–3 star Google review when you use filters or Zapier.

## Disconnect or refresh

From the Facebook connection you can disconnect, refresh the Page token, or run a sync again. Disconnecting stops new imports. Reviews already stored stay on the business.
