# Create your first business

A business is the location customers review. Create one before you connect Google or Facebook, because those connections map onto a business you already added.

## Add the business

1. Open **Businesses**.
2. Create a business and fill in the name, website, address, public phone, public email, and WhatsApp number if you use one.
3. Set the country, state, city, and timezone. Timezone is used for reports and scheduled posts.
4. Upload a logo if you want it on the public trust card.

Save. You can edit any of those fields later from the same page.

## Trust card link

Each business gets a public page at `https://www.syncmyreviews.com/trust-card/{slug}`. The slug is generated from the business. You can regenerate it from **Businesses** if you need a cleaner URL. Regenerating changes the public link, so update any QR codes or website buttons that used the old one.

The trust card shows your name, logo, contact details, rating summary, and recent positive reviews. The **Leave a review** button points at Google when a Google location is connected, and at your feedback link otherwise.

## More than one location

Add a separate business for each location you want to track. Google locations and Facebook Pages are mapped one-to-one onto these businesses from the Connections pages.
