# Invite team members

The person who signed up is the account owner. Owners can invite teammates onto that same account. Members do not get their own trial or their own Stripe subscription.

## Send an invite

1. Open **Users**.
2. Choose **Invite member**.
3. Enter the teammate's email and select at least one business they should see.
4. Send the invite.

SyncMyReviews emails them a link to `/invite`. The message names you and lists the businesses you selected. The link works for 24 hours. While it is still valid you cannot send a second invite to the same email. Cancel it, wait for it to expire, or use **Re-send** after it expires.

## What a member can do

Members only see the businesses you assigned. They can read and reply to reviews, use the review pipeline, and create widgets, badges, and QR codes for those businesses.

They cannot open **Users**, **Billing**, or **Invoices**. They cannot change the account name, the communication email, or billing. If they open those addresses directly, they are sent back to the dashboard.

## After they join

**Users** has two tabs:

* **Accepted** — people who finished sign-up. **Manage** changes which businesses they can see. They must keep at least one. **Revoke** removes their access. Their sign-in can be invited again later.
* **Pending** — invites that have not been used. You can cancel one, or re-send after the 24-hour window ends.

The invite email address must match the email they use to sign up. If it does not, the invite is declined.
