Search for your business on Google Search or Maps and open the Profile. 2. Click "Verify" or "Manage now". 3. Follow the assigned method — the option you see is set automatically by Google. 4. Submit the requested proof (postcard code, phone, email, or video). 5. Wait up to 5 business days for review. This selection is automatic and can't be changed. Video recording Walk through your storefront Required Phone Automated voice or SMS Email Verification code by email Postcard Mailed to your address Live call With a Google specialist Review takes up to 5 business days. #### Best Practices * Use the exact business name, address, and category that match your other public listings. * If you're submitting a video, follow the on-screen prompt step by step — random footage gets rejected. * If your video is rejected, Google will tell you exactly what was missing. Re-shoot only the failed segment. To edit your business info on Google, such as business name or business hours, and interact with customers, you need to verify your business. Simply search for your business on Google Search or Maps to create or manage your profile. You can verify your business using one of five available methods. Please note that a specific method is automatically assigned to your business based on your category and cannot be changed.
