Facebook reviews in SyncMyReviews are the recommendations left on a Page you manage. Connect the Page, then map it to one business.
Connect
- Create the business first. See Create your first business.
- Open Connections, then Facebook.
- Sign in with Facebook and approve Page access. You sign in on Facebook. SyncMyReviews does not ask for your Facebook login.
- Choose the Page and map it to the business.
- Save.
The import brings in the recommendation (recommended or not) and any review text. The first import does not email you once per old review.
After it is connected
- New recommendations are picked up by a Facebook webhook, and by the regular sync.
- Email alerts for new or edited reviews use the same Settings → New reviews toggles as Google. Primary is your sign-in email. Communication is the account communication email.
- Replies you write on the Reviews page are sent back to Facebook.
A Facebook recommendation with no star rating is treated as recommended or not recommended. A low recommendation follows the same low-rating path as a 1–3 star Google review when you use filters or Zapier.
Disconnect or refresh
From the Facebook connection you can disconnect, refresh the Page token, or run a sync again. Disconnecting stops new imports. Reviews already stored stay on the business.
