A widget is a snippet you paste on your website. It loads that business's reviews from SyncMyReviews when someone opens the page.
Create one
- Open Widgets.
- Pick a layout from the catalog.
- Open the widget editor. Settings, appearance, and language are separate sections.
- Under settings, choose the business, the sources (Google, Facebook, manual), any tags, the minimum rating, how many reviews to show, and the sort order.
- Adjust colors, corners, and light or dark mode under appearance.
- Change the visible labels under language if you do not want the defaults, such as "Leave a review" or "Verified review".
- Copy the embed snippet and paste it on your site.
The preview updates while you edit. Duplicate clones a widget when you want the same layout for another page.
What visitors see
The snippet asks SyncMyReviews for the current reviews that match your filters. A review you hide in the dashboard drops out of the widget. A new matching review shows up without you republishing the page. The public widget address uses an encrypted id, not your internal business number.
Widgets also count how often they render. That count is on the widget in Widgets.
Badges
Badges are the smaller rating images ("Rated 4.8 from 312 reviews"). They have their own editor, and you can download an email-signature image from a badge to paste into Gmail, Outlook, or Apple Mail.
