Connect Your Social Profiles to Your GBP

How to add social links

  1. Go to your Business Profile.

  2. Select Edit profile and scroll down.

  3. Next to "Social profiles", click the pencil icon.

  4. Use the dropdown to select a platform (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube).

  5. Paste the full URL to your profile.

  6. Click "Add social profile" to link more.

  7. Click Save.

Best Practices

  • Prioritize Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube — these have the deepest GBP integrations today.
  • Use the canonical profile URL (https://instagram.com/your-handle), not a deep link to a specific post.
  • Audit links every quarter — broken or merged accounts hurt trust.
