How to add business attributes

  1. Go to your Business Profile.

  2. Select Edit profile, then click "More".

  3. Find the attribute category you want to change and click Edit.

  4. Toggle each attribute Yes or No based on what your business actually offers.

  5. Click Save.

Best Practices

  • Only toggle on attributes you genuinely deliver — Google flags or removes profiles that misrepresent themselves.
  • Categories of attributes include accessibility, payments, dining options, amenities, and crowd. Walk through each.
  • Re-check seasonally; attributes like 'outdoor seating' or 'curbside pickup' can change with the weather or staffing.

Enhance your online visibility and transparency by leveraging key attributes on your Google Business Profile. Details such as 'pet-friendly,' 'Wi-Fi,' or 'outdoor seating' are displayed directly on Google Search and Maps. Accurately utilizing these attributes significantly increases your discoverability, helping customers quickly locate businesses that offer the specific features they require.

You're done when

  • Every attribute you enabled genuinely applies to your business.
  • You reviewed each attribute category, not just the first one.
  • Enabled attributes appear on your public profile.
