Fix the Most Common GBP Issues, Fast

How to file the right ticket

  1. Identify the exact issue (lost access, suspended, duplicate, hacked, wrong phone, fake review, extortion).

  2. Use the matching Google form — see the table on the right.

  3. Include your business name, address, and any error messages or screenshots.

  4. Submit one ticket per issue and wait for a response email before filing again.

Best Practices

  • For fake reviews, check Google's content policy first — flagging a review doesn't guarantee removal.
  • For review extortion, go straight to the dedicated extortion report form. It's a different team.
  • If your account is suspended, file a reinstatement request — don't just create a new listing, it makes things worse.

Reporting a review will not guarantee it will be removed from your listing. You can flag a review by following these steps in your Google Business Profile.

You're done when

  • You identified the exact issue type.
  • You submitted the matching Google form.
  • You filed one ticket and are awaiting the email response.
