Verify Your Business So You Can Edit It
Verification is what unlocks the ability to edit your hours, respond to reviews, post updates, and message customers. Google assigns you a method based on your category — you don't get to pick — and review can take up to five business days.

How to verify your business
Search for your business on Google Search or Maps and open the Profile.
Click "Verify" or "Manage now".
Follow the assigned method — the option you see is set automatically by Google.
Submit the requested proof (postcard code, phone, email, or video).
Wait up to 5 business days for review. You'll get notified by email.
Best Practices
- Use the exact business name, address, and category that match your other public listings.
- If you're submitting a video, follow the on-screen prompt step by step — random footage gets rejected.
- If your video is rejected, Google will tell you exactly what was missing. Re-shoot only the failed segment.
